When in Rome...

So the launch of Zen BODI in Paris last weekend was long awaited! However the point I also wanted to make was it wasn't all about the weight loss.  I am just over 10st and for my height I should be somewhere nearer the 8st 8oz mark.  However funnily enough at my slimmest I was actually 9st 8oz, because as we all know muscle weighs more than fat.  

My problem is it's 20 years later, I have 3 boys under 10, a husband who looks better now than when we met; he play squash for his country and golfs twice a week.  There certainly isn't time for me to be at the gym 6 days a week, 2 hours a day like i used to (I wish!)... Party in Paris!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted but it's been manic here! I've just returned from Jeunesse University in Paris and can honestly say it's been THE most fun! 

From start to finish it's been a joy to attend! Made some amazing friends and met up with good friends who we don't always get the chance to catch up with very often. Here are a few highlights...

This was Judith, Hilary and I on the Eurostar on the way there! We looked decidedly more tired on the way home LOL.

With over 3,500 people attending, it was their biggest University yet!

Because we are all human!

So this week has been difficult...

Well as I said we are all human, so we have good times but we also have bad times. After Father's Day I had a little blip as a decade on it's no easier and I was feeling a little sorry for myself and also for friends in the same position :-( 

Anyway I fell off the wagon I'm afraid. Chocolate was consumed, alcohol was drank and ZEN was practically forgotten about so we weren't exactly heading for a good end to the week. 

1" ADDED to my chest (shouldn't complain I guess) and nothing lost elsewhere. However, ever trying to see the positive in things, it does mean I didn't gain elsewhere! When was the last time you slept soundly!

Okay so I don't know about you, but since I've had the kids I haven't had a good nights sleep ever.  Waking at the slightest cry in the night or the minutest creak of a door, so when I saw AM/PM Essentials in Jeunesse's range of products I have to admit the thing that excited me the most was the promise of a restful sleep!
